Ingredients

• 45 ml VALDOS Ultra-premium vodka
• 20 ml anise liqueur (e.g. Pernod or Pastis)
• 30 ml spiced citrus syrup (orange with hints of vanilla & cinnamon)
• 60 ml cold black tea (slightly concentrated)
• 60 ml chilled soda water
• 1 dash orange bitters

Garnish: Lemon wedge (on the rim).
Whole star anise (pressed into the lemon).

Preparation

1. Add vodka, anise liqueur, citrus syrup, cold tea, and bitters into a shaker with a few ice cubes.
2. Shake lightly for about 8–10 seconds to chill.
3. Strain into a chilled Old Fashioned glass — served without ice.
4. Top gently with soda water.
5. Garnish with the lemon wedge and press the star anise into its peel.
